There is an opening at the top of the bag with an eyelet between the ears, and twine or thin ribbon can be used for the tie closure.

Please note the opening is quite limited in size due to the shape and space between the ears, and are the following approximate sizes -

These openings are plenty big enough though to insert small treats and be tied up without the risk of anything falling out.
